Colourtext specialises in advertising research across all media platforms, in particular Audio, TV and Digital. We build sophisticated media regressions models, operate global-scale advertising tracking studies, and develop innovative web attribution methodologies.

FECI Segmentation

FECI Segmentation and the Fan Map is a powerful way to explain any market by segmenting consumers into Fans, Enthusiasts, Casuals and Indifferents (hence the FECI acronym). Originally developed in 2003 for the music and media industry FECI Segmentation and the Fan Map underpins the world’s biggest and longest running market segmentation of music fans.

We specialise in the use of the Microsoft Power BI platform and associated DAX and M Power Query languages.

Based in the famous English Lake District, Colourtext is a leader in the design and delivery of global-scale market segmentation, advertising research and data analytics projects. The company was founded in 2008 by Jason Brownlee, who has a corporate and start-up background in the media, market research and biotech sectors.
